Hosted by the African Centre for Cities and the Development Bank of Southern Africa, this session examines the critical role of development banks in supporting Africa’s urbanisation. Given the current limitations in investment, stronger collaboration between Multilateral and National Development Banks can channel the finance needed for climate-resilient infrastructure, essential services, and inclusive urban growth, turning African cities into engines of economic opportunity and prosperity.
